Hey,
I'm new to vaping and I recently bought Vaporesso Revenger and I had one big issue with it which is e-liquid leak

Every time I take a hit, the e-liquid gets on my mouth (which makes it taste horrible).. I made sure it's tight and that it's not full (half-way) and I'm using it at 35 ~ 40 watt

Also the e-liquid finishes way too fast, it's like 20 hits for 2 ~ 3ml which is so bad. I'm using Nasty juice cush man mango

I never thought that vaping would be so costly tbh not to mention it keeps leaking, it's like I'm sucking e-liquid not vape..

And ye one more thing, the coil overheats really fast

Any help would be appreciated!

Hello and Welcome to ECF.
It sounds like your tank is flooded. Take a paper towel and hold around the bottom airflow ring and blow down into the chimney to clear it out.
Sub ohm tanks, like yours, are going to use more liquid hence the consumption.

I am not sure which core you are using but you should be using the right wattage for the core you have installed. Too high and you get dry hits, too low and it's not going to vaporize properly. Make sure you get the cotton wet on new coils before putting it back together. You are likely going through so much juice due to leaking. These things work on air pressure so if you fill it in an air conditioned house then go outside in the heat it will cause leaking on nearly any tank. That also means when you close the top make sure that is sealing correctly. Check youtube, there may be videos that can help more with the NRG tank that came with your Revenger.

I’m sorry I don’t have that equipment so I can’t help with the technical bits. When I first started vaping I spent a lot on finding the equipment that really did it for me. Now that I have a lot of choices that I like my spending has dropped drastically. If I had continued to smoke I would have spent far more and had only a pile of ashes and a lung full of tar. Vaping higher wattage is going to go through liquid faster, so you have to find ways to cut that cost. Find budget liquids you like or you can always look into DIY. I knew very soon after starting vaping that I wanted to cut my cost on liquids and coils, so I learned how to do it myself. Now I could vape for years and not have to spend another dollar. As far as your leaky tank google your tank and specific problem together and see if anyone has a fix for it, maybe a video. Or keep trying with a different tank. I know I have a pile of tanks that didn’t quite work for some reason or another. Good luck!

Get a pile of these coil heads and don't look back. Your juice consumption will go down and I haven't had any flooding issues from them.

They are best at 60w I find personally. and don't forget to use "e-packet" as the shipping method and you should have them within 1-2 weeks. Most other shipping methods can take a month or more so don't forget that step.

I have Vaporesso Target and Revenger kits w/tank, and the NRG also by Vaporesso. For the last year I have loved the Vaporesso products, but in the last three months they ALL started to LEAK, horribly. One minute things are fine, the next I feel hot juice running down my hand.

I haven't changed the way I use them, and since they ALL leak now, even with new coils, it must be the replacement coils....the company is getting sloppy.

I got so sick of it, I ordered the Smok Priv2 kit, supposed to arrive today The tank is top fill and top VENT, so no leaking from the bottom vents. If it works out, I will switch to this brand.

Check for a missing or twisted o ring between your chimney and top of coil. Usually the main culprit for a flooding tank on those type of tanks. Factory installed coils are always to tight on new tanks. After you torque them off the o ring could be missing or moved out of place. That's what i'd check first

I tried to post this as a separate thread but no message box appears, only thread title and tags, so guess i'll post here:

I have the Vaporesso NRG tank as a part of the Revenger kit, and I am becoming increasingly frustrated by it leaking. Not only was the glass tank seemingly glued to the o-ring when i received it (it took an excessive amount of force to be able to take apart for cleaning), but juice always seems to leak through the top of the glass tube, bypassing the o-ring. I have tried changing the o-ring and glass tube, but it's still occurring.

Then there's also the white gasket on the refill hole that also never seems to do it's job, with liquid even seeping out through there.

Is this a common issue with the NRG tank? I know the revenger mod itself is incredibly fragile, and have already had to do an RMA once due to a weak micro USB port breaking within weeks of receipt. Because of that I'm now using an external charger so it won't happen again. RIP fast charge functionality.

I haven't heard a lot about that problem, it sounds quite frustrating. It seems like you have tried a lot of fixes, could take the tank back to where you bought it, if a B&M store, if not you may want to see if you can warranty it? I just really haven't heard much about that tank, period, but it sounds like you have done what you can

Seems like you've looked at the usual culprits with the tank, so I don't know beyond actually seeing the tank. Are you filling to the top of the fill slot?

As for the Revenger, I can't say mine was fragile and I have not read a lot about them being fragile. USB ports can be finicky, and I'll leave it at that. Of course I use multiple batteries and an external charger.

We're you by chance vaping while it was plugged in?

Concerning juice consumption : that's completely normal as you're using a sub 0hm setup (like others have pointed out) i'm using an rba myself and i go through about 15-20 ml a day but 40$/1-2 weeks is still less expensive for me than smokes we're (50$+ per week) some juices are more expensive ofc but i feel so much better since i started vaping that i stopped caring about cost tbh it became more of a hobby/passion.

If you're worried that bad about consumption of your tank switch to a mtl setup (mouth to lung which replicates smoking the most)

The first revenger I had, yeah, I would occasionally use while plugged in to a powerbank or my laptop. Problem with the USB port is that it lost it's strength in regards to actually grabbing ahold of the cable, and the cable's connector started wobbling around, killing any chance it had of charging. Since doing an RMA on it and getting replacement, been using external charger 100% and got a couple more batteries to switch out so should never see this problem again :)

As for the tank, it seems that the leaking problem is actually caused by the white gasket under the twist top (the one that surrounds the fill hole that's actually supposed to prevent leaking). When refilling, juice gets outside it pretty easily and ends up lubricating the entire surface of the top cap, leaving no protection between the tank and the top cap against leaks, since, well, liquid loves company and this lubrication attracts more liquid until it leaks lol.

Literally have to clean between every refill to prevent leaks when using dropper bottles or twist top bottles because the hole is too small to accommodate them correctly and then there's also the juice catcher that also runs back down, further adding to this excessive lubrication problem
