A Padma Bhushan awardee, Shashi Kapoor, was known for his films like Awaara, Namak Halaal, Kabhie Kabhie, Deewar, Silsila and many more. The romantic hero of the golden era of Hindi Cinema was suffering through a kidney ailment, he wasn’t doing fine since the past few weeks. The actor, director and producer passed away at the Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. His last rites are currently being performed in the city with almost the whole of Bollywood in attendance.
