Kim Kardashian accidentally revealed on Ellen that her third child is a girl.

The 37-year-old was telling the story of the baby shower she threw over the weekend — which was mainly for the benefit of her four-year-old daughter North — when she inadvertently let slip the gender reveal.

'I thought I really do want to have a baby shower, because I want her to feel that something's coming, and for her to really understand it,' she said.

'So people brought toys and gifts, and she was opening them all up the next day and she said: "mom, you know since baby sister is not here, I think I need all of her toys in my room, and I'll play with them and make sure they are all okay for baby sister.'

A beaming Ellen replied: 'She's a toy tester... and you just told us it's a girl.' Realising the cat was out of the bag, Kim smiled and confirmed a little sister was en route.

'North is really excited about that,' she said, adding it had been 'a little trickier' to convince her her brother Saint was a good thing.

Kim and husband Kanye decided to use a surrogate for baby number three, after suffering scary complications with Saint's pregnancy.  

The reality star also revealed they were struggling to come up with a name for the tot, and even a name suggesting game at the baby shower failed to produce any contenders.

When Star West came up, Kim revealed that had been North's suggestion, but the mom 'was not vibing on it.' 

'I do like different names, but short, easy to spell, one syllable,' she said. 'That's kind of my vibe.'

Two of Kim's sisters — Kylie and Khloe — are reportedly pregnant also, but Kim refused to comment on either, reveling the family had a pact not to speak about each other.

She was joined at the event by Khloe - who was showing no hint of a bump yet posed up a storm for a video with Kim - during which she hid behind her sister's shoulder.

In another snap, the duo posed head on - with the stunning star's all-black ensemble acting to keep her 'bump' concealed yet she showed off her eye-popping cleavage.

Earlier in the day, before the party started off, Kim had offered a bit of background information about her fragrances on Snapchat.

She filmed a box of the perfume as she opened it, revealing both the idiosyncratically-shaped bottle and a small envelope. 'It’s finally here – my fragrance, Crystal Gardenia. I’ve been working on this for over a year,' said Kim.

'And,' continued Kim, 'we are at our KKW launch party for the fragrance, and it is launching tomorrow on our website and at Violet Grey.' 'Crystal Gardenia,' Cassandra cooed.

'So, we're so excited,' plugged Kim, 'and I will share with you guys how the evening is going. It's about to start!
