Position
Our client is seeking an Application Developer to join the team responsible for the development of several applications.

Responsibilities include:
-Translating requirements into functional and technical designs that will be used in the overall solution delivery
-Providing high quality expertise in software development of web applications in a .NET environment, including writing of effective unit tests
-Experience in an Agile development environment

Demonstrated experience in:
-Current and advanced experience developing solutions with the Microsoft .NET Framework and SQL Server
-Current and advanced experience with JavaScript, Angular, Web Services, Ajax and/or HTML5 technologies
-Efficiently producing high quality deliverables
-Following software development best practices
-Continuous improvement
-Experience with curriculum or student assessment business domain and technology solutions would be considered an asset

Requirements
-Experience with SQL Server
-Experience using C#
-Experience using .NET framework
-Experience developing and maintaining ASP.NET applications
-Experience with stored procedures and triggers
-Experience with unit testing, test-driven development and tools
-Experience with Agile methodology
-Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation server
-Experience with object-oriented design practices
-Experience with the Model-View-Presenter pattern as pertaining to ASP.NET web development
-Experience with JavaScript
-Experience in an environment with continuous integration (TFS Build, MSBuild or equivalents)
-Experience with iterative development paradigms
-Experience with LINQ
-Experience with .NET 3.5 or greater
-Experience with modern interactive website design and development
-Experience with XML/XSLT
-Experience developing and maintaining mobile applications
-Experience in performing system analysis / technical analysisExperience in data modeling
-Experience in application design
-Experience in performing unit testing / system testing activities
-Experience developing conversion strategies/plans, scripts or data mapping
-Experience with SQL Reporting Services
-Experience working with in an enterprise architected environment
-Experience with post-secondary education or education systems
