He’s best known for his hard-hitting lyrics, but Jay Z revealed his softer side as he boarded a private jet with wife Beyonce and their children on Tuesday evening.
The 47-year old musician cradled daughter Blue-Ivy, five, as he prepared to fly out of Miami with his family, after they were spotted spending time on a yacht.
Sporting a casual white T-shirt and jogging bottoms, Jay wrapped his arms around Blue – the oldest of his three children with Beyonce – while making his way across the airstrip.

Jay Z was in Miami for a performance at the American Airlines Arena on November 12 the latest stop on his mammoth 4:44 Tour, which resumed in Atlanta on Tuesday.
Musician Jay continues his tour in support of latest same-titled album - his thirteenth in total - across the United States and Canada.
He will perform a further 22 shows, with his next taking place at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on Wednesday evening.
The musician is expected to end his tour in California and a hotly anticipated show at The Forum in Inglewood on December 21.

The three-piece were seen on board a luxury yacht Monday, where it's believed they enjoyed a cosy two-hour lunch.
Sources close to the family told The Sun at the time that, 'the trip [was] for Bey to relax and get creative at sea.'
Jay previously explained why he loved having his with him family will him on tour, saying he wanted time 'to just really bond and see their fingers and s*** like that,' he said.
'I’m just focused on them. I’m not thinking about a show at night or anything like that,' he said during his show at Miami's American Airlines Arena.
He also insisted claims his 4:44 Tour is not selling are wide of the mark, declaring: 'They can't stop me. I can't be stopped!'
