I know it's kind of early but this post is more or less a warning for the newer vapers, It's near the end of October, soon it will be November so the holidays are on there way here, so just what the heck does that have to do with us vapers?

If you shop at a B&M this likely won't affect you at all but for the rest of us that rely on and order tonnes of stuff online especially from China but everywhere it means the global mail system is going to start to get bogged down with the influx of people ordering Christmas presents. Once it hits mid to late November (3-4 weeks from now) we can start to expect minor delays, as time goes on it's going to get progressively worse and by the time around December 10th hits you can only expect to get your packages after New Years.

Every year people complain about this, myself included even though I know it's coming. If you've been thinking of picking something up but have been holding off and want it here by Christmas I'd think about ordering it in the next few weeks, this is not Armageddon although to some you may consider it Vapemageddon. When the time comes try not to flood the forums with all sorts of posts about your package being late or hating on companies like fasttech/Gearbest/3F etc because it's completely out of their control, they package it, they ship it and it's out of their hands at that point.

One more thing to keep in mind is that there are going to be massive sales around xmas so if you're thinking about getting something but don't necessarily need it right away you may want to wait for it, it will give you more time to watch reviews etc.

Anyways.. Be sure to have a nice supply of juice ready and get your overseas orders in in November.

Happy vaping Peoples :)

That's always a good reminder. Man, I wish Amazon would just source everything, sometimes. PROUD user of PRIME (OMG, I can't believe I just became a walking ad just then).

I used to do my Christmas shopping (the brick and mortar part) on Christmas Eve. It was great, the stores were dead empty and you could pick up some great deals. I would do it after all the Lighting the Cactus Tree festivities and whatnot. (Yes, for several years, we had a Christmas Cactus, my son loved it, and once it had outlived its usefulness, we planted it in the "garden"). It's still going strong, maybe this year I will wake early (well, that part is for sure, I apparently need less sleep than the average person) and go put the presents around it before picking up the kiddo and his dog.

Fortunately, I have my Christmas present already (Radius) and ordered the Husband's (Mech mod, and he WILL be using it) but I should get on those e-liquid recs for him. I did have my present picked out from my mom (Tesla Punk 220) but she's not talking to me at the moment. I'm assuming she'll get over it, but when?? (This has happened before).

This is why I don't mind the couple extra bucks from the brick and mortar stores. There is one here.. .VaporDNA that is local to me that do online prices within their stores. Gotta love that.

and PRIME is the greatest thing in the world.. But not for vape stuff like mods tanks and juices.

For us it's not slow mail season, it's disappearing mail season. This time last year we lost several packages, always out for delivery to never show. It's already happening again.

Wait 7 days...file claim...nothing. I don't even bother anymore. Frustrating and powerless. Would pay a little extra to avoid USPS on everything.

Probably would be ok if we had a regular carrier. When we did years ago we had no issues.

Sorry to rant so much. I can deal until I feel powerless. I might, might get lucky. For whatever reason it's not uncommon for our mail to get scanned onto the wrong truck. I almost lost an iPhone years ago this way, but caught it and insisted that driver deliver it.

Here they just...I dunno. It just disappears. It's made the news, supposedly inspectors came up..nothing changed. Frustrating.

USPS here is just plain slow all the time! It takes longer to go the last 90 miles then it did the first 1500. I'd call it Pony Express, but that would be faster. But it is seeming others are trying to compete with that snail pace.

Recent order from Amazon Prime took 5 work days to ship. Just guessing that since so much of "their stuff" is "sold by XXX, fulfilled by Amazon", the seller(s) all have to ship their items to Amazon who then ship it in one package. Then I get an e-mail asking my opinion of how well it was packaged? It's not the old Amazon!

Now I have one small item on it's way from QVC (take it easy on me! It's been so long since I bought from them that I am no longer in their data base!). Evidently starting out UPS, but will transition to USPS at some point (wondering if the UPS truck will just drop it off at the post office rather then delivering to my door about 600' away in this tiny town). My luck, they will probably transition the 90 miles away for the "slower then pony express" route! But even still with UPS (evidently), it sat in one spot for almost 24 hours.

For my next vape order, I've been holding off until Black Friday sales......but a bit nervous whether an order then will arrive by Christmas!

( OMG! He said the "C" word!)

That shouldn't be... the whole one order shipped together. I frequently order from Amazon and get my orders split up if they are coming from different places... I have prime though, so that may be the difference. I LOVE prime. I can do last minute Christmas shopping quite easily. I'm not quite sure what they threaten USPS with, (Amazon I mean) but regardless of the size of the package, the mailman brings it to my door, looking harried.... Even if it would fit in the mailbox. They must have some dark secret over the mailman, LOL.
