Position Summary: The Health Commodity Logistics Advisor is primarily responsible to help ensure commodity security throughout the country through technical support in the implementation of the Integrated Pharmaceutical Logistics System (IPLS/HCMIS). The HCLA will actively collaborate with PFSA, RHBs, other MOH levels, and partners to strengthen HCMIS, IPLS paper-based, the internal resupply system in facilities with special focus to Hospitals, RH/MNCH advocacy and coordination, resource mobilization for contraceptives and IPLS support, and the collection and reporting of quality logistics data for commodity decision-making (resupply and forecasting). The HCLA will also be involved in technical assistance, supportive supervision, and monitoring and evaluation in the Regions for selected Logistics and CS indicators with great focus on data quality, visibility and sustainability of both automated and paper systems. He/she will serve as member of TWG concerning IPLS and current /emerging issues as needed.
