Rajput Karni Sena gives it back to Deepika Padukone for reacting against them
Come every day and there is new controversy surrounding Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’. In the latest development to the never ending saga, the Rajput Karni Sena vandalised a cinema hall in Kota, Rajasthan for screening trailer of ‘Padmavati’ in a bid to give it back to Deepika Padukone, who recently spoke against the banning of her upcoming film ‘Padmavati’. In his defence, Vijendra Singh Kalyanwat, the spokesperson of Karni Sena, reportedly said that it is their way of giving it back to the actors who oppose them. They also reportedly threatened to take laws in their hands if necessary. According to Vijendra, they have written their history with their blood and that they won’t let Sanjay Leela Bhansali distort it. Stating that the director is spreading cultural terrorism, Vijendra reportedly added that the Bhansali did not respond to their mails and letters when they tried to reach him and now that the director has offered to show the movie, they say they are not interested. Seeking complete ban on the film, he reportedly stated that SLB is spreading cultural terrorism. Kalyanwat also reportedly argued that Rajput women are never seen dancing the way Deepika is seen doing in the film.
