The Celtics' big acquisition in the summer, forward Gordon Hayward, suffered a gruesome injury in his Boston debut.

In the first quarter of Boston's season-opener versus Cleveland, Hayward came down hard to the floor which resulted in his left ankle fracturing. Cavs and Celtics' doctors attended to him before transporting him to an area hospital.

Enter Fox Sports' Skip Bayless.

Bayless used Hayward's horrific injury to take a pot shot at Cavs' LeBron James claiming James' path to losing another NBA Finals is easier.

This did not go over well with San Antonio Spurs' Rudy Gay.

Gay fired back at Skip calling him a " heartless clown" for his remarks.

Bayless' comments were untimely considering the possibility of Gordon's season ending.

This hasn't been the first time Skip fired off. He recently said he has lost all respect for Spurs' Gregg Popovich.
