Examine pediatric cases, obtain medical history, requests and interpret diagnostic laboratory and radiologic tests, prescribe and monitor therapy for client.
Works with the obstetrician in the management of cases (neonates) associated with obstetrics complications.
May be consulted on duty hours
Make daily ward rounds, decides on management, admission and discharge of pediatric clients.
Analyze records, test results to monitor client conditions and progress and take appropriate action as required.
Ensure quality of care in place in the hospital by providing caring, compassionate and respectful health care services.
Participate/attend daily morning meetings, prepare/moderate case presentations
Coach co-workers how to perform procedures
Refer clients to higher level health facility/hospital as required
Determine the kind of medical tools, equipment and medical supplies as needed
Participate on the development of the hospital’s working protocols and guidelines
Conduct/participate in research activities.
Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor relevant to his/her profession
Abide by rules and regulations of the center
Works in accordance with the values and principles of the institution.
Job Requirement
Education: MD + pediatrician
Experience: two year or more in clinical experience
