You’ve probably heard of Dr Pimple Popper, right?

These viral videos depict some of the gnarliest pimples being popped, and you either love or hate them.

If you’re in the latter camp and can’t quite stomach watching someone else’s pimple being popped, but still find those things satisfying then this new Instagram account might be for you.

Called Tweezist, the page has just popped up and posts close up videos showing ingrown hairs being pulled out. Yum.

The Instagram account has a massive 127,000 followers already and a backlog of 189 posts – so it should keep you occupied for some time.

And people are obsessed with it. You will find the comments section littered with positive feedback and people saying they “live for this s**t”.

One commenter told Tweezist: “I find your videos oddly satisfying."

While all the videos are decidedly gross, there is also something highly satisfying about watching a magnified ingrown hair be pulled out by a pair of tweezers.

The person behind the account is a Korean woman in her mid-30s who would like to remain anonymous.

Since her Instagram account became a phenomenon, she has started picking up some extra cash from it.

She told Metro: “I know so many people suffering from ingrown hairs like me.

“Lots of tweezers disappointed me, so I try to find the world’s best tweezer master and introduce good tweezers to around the world.”

All of the ingrown hairs on the Instagram account are from the Korean woman’s body – mostly found on her legs.

Her advice is to sanitise before and after plucking and to wipe the tweezers with as much rubbing alcohol as you can.

To prevent ingrown hairs in the first place, exfoliating is recommended as is not wearing tight clothing and waxing instead of shaving.

But in a world without ingrown hairs, where would we find magical videos like these? Excuse me while I dry retch.
