Todd Sullivan’s review published on Letterboxd:
A mystery drenched in shadows, with a dead man who may not be dead, and two women who may not be what they seem. Considered a classic, not just of horror but of film in general, there's a lot to appreciate here even more than 50 years later. To be fair, I had the mystery figured before the ending, but I'm not sure if that's because I'm so gosh darn smart, or if it was muscle-memory of having seen the less well regarded remake many years ago.
Either way, this is the one to watch, with some great performances from actors portraying characters whose death you will likely find yourself rooting for.
