We’ve heard of labiaplasty – where women get “designer vaginas” – but what about 3D vaginas?
This is the latest plastic surgery trend sweeping Thailand as women are having their own fat injected into their pubic areas.
The treatment is intending to give the woman a “fuller” and more “youthful-looking” vagina.
It is being offered by the Lelux Hospital in the city of Nonthaburi in central Thailand's Nonthaburi province.
The trend is already become an internet sensation with a member of the hospital staff posting before and after images of how it can change a woman’s shape.
One picture depicted a patient lying down with her legs spread – waiting to be injected.
The images were captioned: "£3DVagina - the surgery to beautify your girl."
They were accompanied with the hashtags: #Plump, #Injectfatintovagina, #Full and #Thick.
Understandably, the images went viral and were shared more than 13,000 times in just a few days.
Carrying out the procedure involves extracting fat from where it is not wanted on the patients body – usually the stomach or hips.
It is then injected into the vagina to create a “fuller” look.
The operation doesn’t come cheap, costing THB 50,000 (£1,140).
