As a Maintenance Worker you will be responsible for the following duties:
Perform duties related to commercial air conditioning and refrigeration units.Fabricate concrete forms, scaffold, storage pallets, storage bins, tables, workbenches, and related items.Perform sheet metal duties by repairing or replacing sections of metal gutters, down spouts, flashings, valleys, roof jacks, vent stacks.Repair components such as gas burners, motors, blowers, pilots, igniters, and thermostatic control devices.Perform roofing duties by re-nailing or replacing shingles, or making repairs to composition roofing.Perform periodic visual and operational checks of building systems, playground equipment, ground coverings, and material storage areas to ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.Monitor the condition of foundation, walls, flooring, porches, roofs, doors, windows, guttering, ventilators, plumbing, electrical systems, heating equipment, appliances, and building approaches.Inspect for obvious safety and fire hazards and evidence of pest infestation.Perform vehicle preventive maintenance (PM); completes PM Service records and dispatch; completes operators' accident reports in case of accident.Test for proper functioning of compressors, chillers, cooling towers and their related control systems.Perform electrical duties by troubleshooting power failures, locating source and take the necessary corrective action to remedy the failure.Perform motor vehicle operator duties that includes driving trucks up to 10,000 pounds GVW capacity to transport supplies, and equipment to and from work site or delivery site.
