We love a good DIY family affair here at Hello May and that’s exactly what Natalie and Martin’s day was all about. Held on the family farm the morning of the wedding a huge tree fell down and nearly took out their entire reception set up but Natalie says “luckily my dad was on hand with the tractor and was able to move it without anyone knowing any different. He also thankfully didn’t tell me this until the next day which was very wise”
But it wasn’t just Nat’s Dad who lent a helping hand as she goes on to explain “the entire week before my parents, bridesmaids and I were running around like mad chooks trying to get everything set up and looking perfect. While we were doing this Martin was still putting the finishing touches on the cars” which he restored himself in time for their special day which was photographed by Queensland faves Trent and Jessie Photographers.
Speaking of Nat and Martin can not speak highly enough of their choice of photographer, recalling the weather that day Natalie explains “They managed to make the chaos work for us and our photos and weren’t afraid to get a little wet.
