Peter Sagan announced Tuesday that he and his wife, Katarina, are expecting a baby. This will be the 27-year-old pro cyclist's first child.

After his wedding in 2015, Sagan told Cycling Tips that marriage hadn't changed him, but, "I think maybe a child could change my habits."

He's no stranger to children, though. The two-time world champion has been working with kids for quite a while, both in his native Slovakia with his two foundations—the Peter Sagan Kids Tour and the Peter Sagan Academy—and through his involvement with Specialized's kids cycling camps in recent years. Sagan hasn't yet shared how long Katarina has been pregnant, so it's uncertain how much the pregnancy will impact his cycling plans this year. (He's scheduled to race the 2017 Tour de France in two weeks.)

We don't know much about his impending fatherhood, but two things are obvious: First, this child will be speedy. And second, he or she will have an amazing head of hair.
