Wenger unsure as to why Chelsea let new Arsenal hero go

Arsene Wenger cannot explain why Chelsea let Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah go two years ago. Nketiah scored twice for the Gunners on his home debut on Tuesday, helping sink Norwich in the Carabao Cup fourth round. The 18-year-old joined the club in 2015 and has impressed in their youth ranks. Alexandre Lacazette is a fan. Nketiah was released by Chelsea after spending seven years at Stamford Bridge, and was promptly snapped up by Arsenal. 'It's good because life gives chances to young people,' Wenger said of Nketiah's brace. 'Hopefully he'll have a long career at Arsenal.
