I commend you for sharing this. Many people wouldn't. It's a great pic, btw!
I have nothing to hide so i don't mind. It's easy to see that my imagery is not exactly from the purist front. I don't do composites with exchanged sky or added elements and i prefer to chase those rare moments of light instead- i still always process an image to my likes. The camera jpg with applied WB was a little close to my end result than this raw view...
I like it when I know I'm looking at the real thing better - nice work!
Yeah, (from a pro) Kudos for sharing OoC. Very nicely captured and processed. It's amazing what can be done with a good RAW file. For viewers, it's reassuring to know that everything that is shown in the frame was actually there in front of the camera. The problem is that most viewers don't understand RAW files are very flat and the colors need processing to be shown well.
Yes nowadays it´s so easy to think that everything is just "faked" in Photoshop and i´m sure you have dealt with people doubting the clouds even happened... showing a RAW is kinda intimate lol feels like stripping the clothes down. So thanks a ton for your nice feedback!

One of my favorite photos I've ever taken was taken from a boat in the middle of that lake. Such a beautiful place.
I went for a swim the day before i shot this. Just started at Hosteria Pehoé and swam some meters. The coldness quickly drained my energy and then i just made the dead man, chilling out with that view until i realized i better get out quickly in order to not catch a cold for the rest of the days in Patagonia. Great memory!
What time did you have to get up to take this pic?
Heyho, this was actually super comfortable as it was the sunset. Sunrise is normally better when shooting from lago Pehoé as then the mountains catch the glow from the right side of the frame here and often the light is even better. This was a lucky situation with just the right clouds and a slice of clear sky at the horizon setting them on fire!
