Now Even Walmart is Stabbing President Trump in the Back

The reaction from the political class, media and now even the corporate behemoths that have exploited cheap overseas labor to destroy the American Dream to blame President Trump for the actions of one criminal individual who rammed his car into several leftists in Charlottesville has reached a dangerous stage.

While you expect the media to accuse President Trump of being a racist, the second coming of Hitler and a soul brother of leftist sock puppet David Duke and the Democrats would condemn Trump if he announced a cure for cancer, now even cowardly corporations are joining in the pummeling.

The President was upstaged when five members of his American Manufacturing Council saw a golden opportunity to abandon ship like rats rather than risk one penny of their profits made from offshoring, H1-B visas, outsourcing and rigging the game against the American worker be lost.

Now even supposedly all-American, patriotic paragon Walmart has taken a cheap shot at Trump over the flogged to death talking point that he didn’t move swiftly enough to condemn white nationalists.

Walmart’s CEO has joined the piling on of Trump by sleazily making the innuendo through a corporate press release that he is sympathetic to white supremacist and neo-Nazi elements, a disgusting statement that should have shareholders contemplating finding a new leader for the corporation.

It’s long been established that Wally World isn’t on the side of the average worker with their foreign made crap, abysmal treatment of the people who work for them and plopping down in small towns and driving everyone else out of business.

But what can you expect, do you honestly believe that Walmart of ALL companies wants manufacturing to return to the U.S.A?

Via the Washington Examiner “Walmart CEO criticizes Trump’s slow Charlottesville response”:

Walmart CEO Doug McMillon criticized President Trump’s response to the violence in Charlottesville, Va., over the weekend, but said he planned to remain engaged with the White House.

In a statement posted on the retail giant’s website, McMillon wrote that Trump “missed a critical opportunity to help bring our country together by unequivocally rejecting the appalling actions of white supremacists.”

Trump did not specifically call out white supremacy and racism in his first comments on the violence in Charlottesville on Saturday, although he did in a public appearance Monday.

McMillon said Monday’s comments were a “step in the right direction and we need that clarity and consistency in the future.”

In recent days, several members of Trump’s manufacturing council, including the heads of Merck, Intel, and Under Armour, have resigned in protest.

McMillon is not a member of the council, but he has visited the White House to advise Trump as part of a group of CEOs. In his statement Monday, he suggested that he wouldn’t decline to perform a similar role in the future. “We believe we should stay engaged to try to influence decisions in a positive way and help bring people together,” he wrote.

Here is the CEO’s official press release:

A Message From Doug

Article information

Respect for the individual is one of our core beliefs at Walmart. And the role we play in communities around the country to build a more diverse and inclusive society is more critical than ever as the tragic events in Charlottesville over the weekend painfully reminded us. Our prayers are with the victims and their families.

As we watched the events and the response from President Trump over the weekend, we too felt that he missed a critical opportunity to help bring our country together by unequivocally rejecting the appalling actions of white supremacists. His remarks today were a step in the right direction and we need that clarity and consistency in the future.

Our country is facing some very difficult issues that require our elected officials, business leaders and community-based organizations to work together. Representing a company with the largest and one of the most diverse groups of associates in the U.S., and an even more diverse customer base of tens of millions of customers, we believe we should stay engaged to try to influence decisions in a positive way and help bring people together. I will continue to strongly advocate on behalf of our associates and customers, and urge our elected officials to do their part to promote a more just, tolerant and diverse society.

Thank you for representing Walmart and our values today — and every day.

#DumpDoug?

Coming on the heels of Google’s exposure as full-blown, diversity-obsessed corporate compound where the Kool-Aid vat was always overflowing as long as you were not an employee who was either capable of critical thinking or a conservative, Walmart’s piling on is predictable.

They won’t be the last either. Damned near every aspect of the stacked deck of the U.S. economy has a vested interest in destroying Trump and his “America First” policies and now is the time when they can join with his political enemies and the media to end them once and for all.

Unfortunately, due to the heavy reliance on Walmart in many rural areas where the 800-pound retail gorilla has already stomped on its competition, people have no option to boycott this corporation. It’s almost like the Soviet Union where the means of distribution are limited and you either deal with it or starve.

However, many folks like this humble author though live in an area where I can find alternatives to spending my hard earned money with disloyal, America last, profiteers like Walmart which is now run by scum that probably has Sam Walton rolling in his grave.

Even if it costs more, I’ll be looking for independent businesses going forward. People are free to shop where they choose but like the NFL, Walmart has now chosen a side in a battle that conservatives never asked for and they can sell their crap to those who they seek to appease.

Not a peep about ANTIFA or Black Lives Matter in the “Message from Doug”, not surprising since Walmart was caught selling racist BLM merchandise via its website last year.

As a longtime customer, I have spent hundreds of dollars a month at Walmart (largely groceries) but since they are choosing to take such a political stance – Screw them!
