Russian beauty Natalia Gurova posted snaps online showing her posing while holding a rare pink lotus flower named a “nelumbo”.
During the shoot, the gorgeous brunette modelled a long, silky gown in a dusky shade of lilac while letting her long locks flow freely.
But the 19-year-old, from Volgograd, has come under fire for the sultry shoot because her fans aren’t happy about the beauty touting an endangered flower.
Natalia has been told to expect a "hefty" fine for her involvement in picking the flower.
Ecologist Irina Kushakova wrote online: "Those pictures are indeed beautiful but to be fair this is screaming vandalism."
Authorities are now investigating the shoot and say they are looking into how many lotus flowers were used in the shoot – but they claim it’s "unlikely" she will escape without paying the fine.
The amount she has to fork out will be proportionate to the number of flowers that were "ruined”, officials said.
This isn’t the first time a model has faced online abuse from fans.
Fellow Russian siren Victoria Lopyreva was recently slated by followers who accused her of Photoshopping her sexy snaps.
The 33-year-old shared a photo of herself posing on a yacht in a bright pink swimsuit but social media fans were quick to pass judgement on her appearance.
Some slammed the star by claiming her waist looked the same size as her neck in the sultry holiday picture.
One fan said: "I think she is full of personal issues. She used too much Photoshop on her beautiful face and body."
While another added: "Next thing she will do is make her legs reach the water. Ridiculous."
