JOB TITLE: CMAM Programme Mentor for ENRP Somali Region

REPORTS TO: Regional Liaison Manager
The main purpose of this position is to liaison with relevant Somali Zonal government departments to implement and maintain a high quality CMAM programme.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF CMAM PROGRAMME MENTOR
With direct collaboration and coordination with regional liaison manager, the CMAM Programme Mentor will be responsible to carry out the following tasks:
· Ensure the visibility of Concern in accordance to the organisation’s rules and procedures.
· Shall be responsible in submitting reports and documents to be sent by Concern to relevant bodies in the region and provide clarification whenever necessary.
· Provide additional support to the Somali Emergency Nutrition Programme, providing technical support and training for other partner staff and MoH staff.
· Work closely with and provide technical support for partners implementing Emergency Nutrition Project in the Zone to ensure quality CMAM service delivery based on Capacity Support HUB project plan.
· Closely communicate with Regional liaison manager in any external meetings at zonal level
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Education, Qualifications & Experience Required:
· Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (in Nursing, Nutrition or Public Health preferred) ; desirable; and relevant trainings (TOT on management of SAM/ CMAM, TOT on IYCF and/or TOT Blended Modular Nutrition Training)
· Related extensive experience (minimum six years for bachelor and three years for masters)
· Extensive experience in providing training on Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM modular) and IYCF trainings for health professionals
· Clinical experience on management of SAM cases
· Experience in monitoring and evaluation of nutrition projects, including project data management/analysis
· Excellent knowledge of national and international guidelines, protocols and standards for nutrition response interventions the National Nutrition Programme
· Excellent interpersonal and mentoring skills to support and develop staff capacity of field based teams
· Minimum of one year’s experience of directly managing support functions (logs/HR/Finance) with strong knowledge and understanding of Concern’s policies and procedures and the ability to ensure they are correctly followed
· Experience of managing a team and of providing support to teams from a distance
· Excellent analytical skills and ability to analyse nutrition information and data and generate high quality reports in line with Concern and Donor specifications
· Ability to identify, analyse and solve problems, employing timely and appropriate decision making to implement solutions
· Strong communication skill
· Ability to follow policies and procedures (admin/HR/finance/logistics) and ensure donor compliance
· Strong computer skills including database management, Microsoft Word and Excel
· Excellent English and Somali communication skills (verbal and written)
· Empathy with Concern’s Vision, Mission, Goals and Objectives
