LG just launched a new TV in India that claims to make your room a mosquito-free zone. This “mosquito away” technology doesn’t canvas a room with bug spray, but rather uses sound waves that mosquitoes don’t like to get them to buzz off. Just look at how chill the family above is. They don’t have a single mosquito bite between the three of them, so I’m thinking this technology is great news. If the only place in your house that doesn’t have mosquitoes is in front of your TV, then why ever stop watching TV? The bug-free viewing experience starts at $400 for a 31-inch display.
LG’s new TV repels mosquitoes, allowing you to sit in front of the TV forever

LG
LG has included the same technology in air conditioners and washing machines. I probably don’t need to remind you of this, but mosquitoes spread dengue, yellow fever, Zika, West Nile, and malaria. Less of them is probably for the best. Please write me if you love mosquitoes because I want to hear a defense of why we shouldn’t banish them to hell.
