Richmond Annouces Fall Clean Up Campaign For Del Webb

Weekend clean up is a continulaton of initial clean up of neighborhoods launched on Oct. 7.

RICHMOND, TX β€” The City of Richmond is launching its annual fall cleanup on Saturday, Oct. 21.

The city will be working in conjunction Republic Services to remove debris for the residents in Del Webb, and the remainder of the city that has not that has not been served since Oct. 7.

To have the debris removed, all items have to be curbside by 7 a.m.

Items that will NOT be collected include:

  • Construction debris or debris from any vacant lot
  • Electronics
  • Household Hazardous waste, such as chlorine bleach, ammonia, tires, chemicals of any kind, car parts, batteries, germicides, sludge, medical waste, appliances, freon, gas cylinders, PCB’s, asbestos, flammables, radioactive material, explosives, ammunition, antifreeze, oil, propane or caustic materials.
  • Tree or green waste.

Hazardous waste recycling materials can be taken to the Fort Bend County Recycling and Environmental Center located at 1200 Blume Road.

Please call the Recycle Center at 281-342--5226 or 281-633-7581 for hours of operation and information regarding acceptable materials.

This Clean Up Campaign excludes MUD 19 (Riverwood), MUD 116 (Canyon Gate at the Brazos), MUD 121 (Riverpark West), MUD 134 (Harvest Green), MUD 215 (Veranda) and MUD 145 (Rio Vista).
