Partners to Release “The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia” in 2018

The Legend of Zelda™ fans rejoice! Dark Horse is thrilled to reveal the latest addition in their legendary partnership with Nintendo. On April 24, 2018, Dark Horse will release The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia. The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia follows the New York Times bestseller The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia and The Legend of Zelda: Art & Artifacts. These three books complete the Goddess Collection, which provides a comprehensive look at the series’ first 30 years up to the release of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD, comprising the lore and the artwork, and now, an encyclopedic reference guide.

The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia is a 320-page exhaustive guide to The Legend of Zelda franchise from the original The Legend of Zelda to The Legend of Zelda™: Twilight Princess HD. The guide describes enemies and items, potions and poes, an expansion of the lore touched upon in the 2013 smash-hit Hyrule Historia, concept art, screencaps, maps, main characters and how they relate, languages, and much, much more, including an exclusive interview with Series Producer, Eiji Aonuma! The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia, the last of The Goddess Collection trilogy, which includes Hyrule Historia and Art & Artifacts, is a treasure trove of explanations and information about every aspect of The Legend of Zelda universe!

The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia retails for $39.99 and is available for preorder on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Things From Another World, and at your local comic shop

Praise for The Legend of Zelda: Art & Artifacts:

The Legend of Zelda: Art & Artifacts is a gorgeous tribute to the series’ art.”—Nerdist

“Thus, this book, Art & Artifacts, is fantastic because it covers all games from all eras, and opens the door to the nostalgic versions of these games that made me love Link and his adventures.”—AIPT

The Legend of Zelda: Art & Artifacts might be best suited for diehard Zelda fans. But if you fit that category, this art book must go on your shelf.”—GeekDad
