Educational Qualification and Experience:
Bachelor of Degree/Diploma in Sanitary, Hydraulics Engineering, water supply and related fields from recognized university with at least 4 years relevant experience in Water supply and sanitation development and Hygiene out of which a minimum of 2 years’ experience in emergency WASH response project in an NGO.
Demonstrated experience in the management of (feasibility study, design, construction, supervision, etc ) of water supply and sanitation project.
Experience in contract document preparation, negotiation management and development of bid document ,bill of quantity and specification, as well as supervision of administrative of project.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of the water, sanitation, and hygiene interventions
Knowledge of project cycle management and right based community development programming
Knowledge of effective participatory Monitoring, Evaluation and lesson learning systems and in the process of project cycle management.
Skills Specific to the Post:
Excellent interpersonal skill, including the ability to build relationship with colleagues.
Good written and spoken of the local language (Amharic), English and Afan Oromo
Strong negation, influencing and problem solving skill
Proficiency in computer skill and use of relevant software and other applications.
