Charlotte wants to main event WrestleMania 34 against Ronda Rousey

While WWE is still reportedly gearing up for a Four Horsewomen vs. Four Horsewomen program, there’s also been at least some talk that the ultimate goal is to get to a singles match pitting Ronda Rousey against Charlotte Flair. If the latter had her way, they would headline WrestleMania 34 next year in New Orleans.

As she told ESPN:

"I hope that's the main event of WrestleMania. That's my dream. I hope we can make it happen. She really opened the doors for a lot of women. Having that opportunity would be huge. I don't know what her goals are, but it's just cool that she wants to be a part of our world."

If other reports are accurate, that Vince McMahon wants Roman Reigns to pin Brock Lesnar to win the Universal championship and more or less officially become the next top guy in WWE, it’s highly unlikely any other match goes on last. But if there was a women’s match that could at least threaten it, Rousey vs. Flair would be it.

Even if it doesn’t headline, it would still be a marquee match that would undoubtedly draw a great deal of mainstream attention, despite Rousey’s recent failures in mixed martial arts.

Stay tuned.
