The Scoopic 16 MS was an improved model of the Scoopic 16MN, released in 1974.

The improvements allowed attachment of a 400-ft. film magazine to the top of the main body of the camera for movie shooting. An optional 400-ft film magazine, either a Mitchell or Cinema Products Magazine, could be attached to the battery chamber on top of the camera that held the replaceable batteries. Frame lines were also added inside the viewfinder as TV screen guide lines.
