Peter Parker + Pandas = Perfect.

Fans mercilously shredded the official poster for "Spider-Man: Homecoming," but it looks like Marvel may have learned a lesson in time for the Chinese release: Be cuter.

"Homecoming" will finally open in China on September 8, and a new a series of awesome country-specific posters shows how seriously Marvel Studios is taking this very important market.

Peter Parker is famously from Queens, New York City, but Spider-Man is universal, and China's posters show the teen at the Great Wall of China, taking a selfie in front of Shanghai's Oriental Pearl Tower, riding a horse across a mountain landscape, posing with some precious pandas, etc.

Tom Holland is gearing up for promotion in China, posting this Instagram photo on August 29:

"Homecoming" opened in the U.S. on July 7, and it'll hit China on September 8. Marvel has to hope China gives it a huge opening, boosting its box office beyond the current $737,463,429 worldwide haul to something fairly close to $1 billion.
