Abstract: Objective To investigate the expression of CD molecules on the surface of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) cells. Method Cell surface CD molecules of 300 AML patients were detected by multiparameter flow cytome-try using CD45 molecules as target antigens, to analyze the immunophenotype of the patients. Result Using expression percentage>20%as a positive cutoff value, the expression level varied among CD antigens in 300 AML patients, cyt-MPO、CD33、CD117 and CD38 were strong positive, with high expression level 80%~100%. When taking CD antigen expression percentage>60%as the positive cutoff value, the results showed that, the percentage of positive cells in pa-tients with positive expression of CD33, CD117, CD13 and cyt-MPO was higher than that in patients with positive ex-pression of other cells, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The differences between antigen CD15/CD64, CD15/CD33 or CD33/CD64 reached statistical significance (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in posi-tive expression of antigen found between CD33 and cyt-MPO (P>0.05). Conclusion The expression level varies among CD antigens on AML cell surface, while CD13, cyt-MPO, CD33 and CD117 were highly expressed. The difference of ex-pression levels of CD antigens on AML surface can provide valuable clues for treatment.
