Abstract: Objective To explore the clinical characteristics of lung cancer combined with cerebral infarction. Methods The clinical data from 43 cases with lung cancer and cerebral infarction selected as observation group in our hospital from January 2014 to July 2016 were analyzed retrospectively. And at the same time 45 cases only with cerebral infarction were enrolled as control group (infarction group) and 45 cases only with lung cancer were recruited as another control group (cancer group). We comparatively analyzed pathologic type of lung cancer, age and laboratory tests in the three groups. Results Among the three groups, there were no differences in age and gender, but significant differences were found in histories of hypertension, hyperlipidemia and diabetes (all P<0.05).Additionally,blood routine, coagulation function, clinical symptoms, physical signs and D-dimer showed statistical differences (all P<0.05).When we compared observation group and infarction group, the neurological functional deficit scores displayed important difference (P<0.05),and compared with cancer group, the pathologic type of lung cancer in the observation group indicated significant difference (P<0.05).Furthermore,the levels of CA199 and CA125 in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control groups (P<0.05).Multi-factor regression analysis showed that the D-dimer,CA199 and CA125 were the independent factors (P<0.05).Conclusion The high levels of D-dimer,CA199 and CA125 are the independent factors for lung cancer complicated with cerebral infarction,so clinical workers should pay attention to give the related examination and carry out interventional measures in time to precaution the occurrence of cerebral infarction.
