The reasons cited are delays with its 10nm process.

Yesterday, in Beijing, Intel said its 10 nm process was the best in the world and it would be releasing 10nm FPGAs – adding that it would not be announcing  a time-line for their availability for the time being.

Laptop vendors are reported to be preparing to skip Cannon Lake and move to its planned successor Ice Lake.
