On Sunday, Klay Thompson was downright mystified that LeBron James took Draymond Green's trash talk so personal. The Warriors All-Star thought that James' feelings must've been hurt. And like father, like son. His dad, former Lakers great Mychal Thompson, agrees with him.

The elder Thompson went off on James on a radio hit on Monday, calling LeBron entitled and stating that the Cleveland Cavaliers superstar would not have been able to play in the NBA during physicality of the 1980's.

"LeBron couldn't have survived in the 80's with the physicality and the words guys said to each other back then," Thompson said, via to The Mercury-News' Diamond Leung. "We all respect LeBron's ability ... but man, sometimes he acts too entitled like he's supposed to get everything he wants."

Again it is not surprising that Thompson would back up his son and he's not the only Warriors family member to also criticize James as Stephen Curry's wife, Ayesha fired off a not-so-subtle tweet about LeBron on Sunday. But what Thompson is saying is pretty ridiculous.

Sure the NBA was quite different during that era, but James is an extremely smart basketball player. In this hypothetical situation where he would be playing in that decade, he would've likely figured out how to thrive. Plus, James is an absolute physical specimen, built similar to Karl Malone but with the added athleticism and explosion of a player like Michael Jordan, two players who were stars in the more physical era of the NBA.

Mychal Thompson is, of course, entitled to his opinion but if James is able to use it as an added motivation for Game 5 on Monday, then he may later come to regret it.
