For some, there is no time to rest. The second part of October it’s full of events as the Dota Pro Circuit has already commenced.
Team Secret, Na’VI, and Mineski, currently in Kiev, Ukraine for the first minor of the season, SL i-League Invitational #3, will be next week in Bucharest, Romania for PGL Open Bucharest, the second minor.
Team Secret and Na’Vi will enter the race for the SL i-league Invitational playoffs spots and the first Circuit qualifying points today. Both placed in the same group by StarLadder, they have been seeded in different groups by PGL. The PGL Open Bucharest group stage will be played in a double elimination GSL format, best-of-three games with the top two teams from each group advancing into the playoffs, where they will play single elimination, best-of-three games, including the grand finals, for the PGL Open Bucharest trophy and the bigger portion of Dota Pro Circuit points.
With $300,000 and 300 qualifier points on the line, PGL OPen Bucharest will unfold between October 19-22, behind closed doors, at the PGL offices from Bucharest, Romania. It is set to be the first minor of the season for Evil Geniuses, LGD Gaming, VG J Thunder, Infamous, and Immortals.

Pro players and their fans alike are looking at a busy schedule ahead of them. Not only that the first two minors are only four days apart, but three days after PGL Open Bucharest will crown their winners, the first Major of the Pro circuit will kick off. Team Secret and Evil Geniuses will travel from Bucharest to Hamburg as both teams qualified for the ESL One Hamburg - Major.
