3D printing tradeshows are always exciting, and so are the days leading up to them, as that’s when news of the new products that will be unveiled starts to come out. 3DPrint.com will be attending the TCT Show in Birmingham, UK next week, and there’s going to be plenty to look at and learn about, much of which we’re learning about already.

Finnish 3D printer manufacturer miniFactory is introducing the latest in its 3D printer line: the Innovator 2, which will begin shipping in December of this year. The Innovator 2 is a third-generation 3D printer that, like its predecessors, is a sturdy, reliable machine with a large build area. It’s a dual-extruder 3D printer that, according to miniFactory, resembles a machining center rather than a traditional 3D printer. It has industrial-level capabilities, allowing users to print with a range of engineering-grade materials including PEEK, thanks to an actively heated chamber with a special liquid cooling system. The Innovator 2 is easy to use, as well, with a large 7″ touchscreen, and it’s safe, with an enclosed chamber and activated carbon and HEPA filtering.

Users can be assured of dimensionally accurate and repeatable prints thanks to high-quality mechanics, as well as clean printing thanks to inactive extruder lift and nozzle cleaning functions in each extruder. Calibration is fully automatic for easy, reliable first layer adhesion.

Pricing has not been announced, but the cost of the original Innovator 3D printer is €7200. Currently, miniFactory is looking for new resellers; if you’re interested, you can contact the company here. During TCT Show, you can visit miniFactory at its booth, A43.

Also presenting a new 3D printer at the TCT Show will be Sharebot, which already offers an extensive line of both desktop and professional 3D printers. In fact, the company will be introducing not one but two new 3D printers next week. The 3Delux is a DLP 3D printer designed specifically for dental 3D printing applications. The high-resolution machine prints with certified biocompatible resins and generates smooth parts, making it ideal for surgical guides, tools, molds and other dental applications.

The second 3D printer Sharebot will be introducing is the Sharebot Q XXL, an FDM printer that, as its name suggests, has a large build area of 700 x 350 x 300 mm. Like the 3Delux, it falls into the category of professional 3D printers, and it’s designed to be used in every manufacturing workflow. The Q XXL, like its predecessor the Q, uses the Sharebox 3D system and can be controlled from any device, allowing the user remote access to any print jobs.

In addition to the two new 3D printers, Sharebot will also be showcasing several of its other printers, including the Sharebot NG, the Sharebot 42, the Sharebot Q and the Sharebot XXL. The company has a history of unveiling big products at the TCT Show – it was at TCT three years ago that Sharebot introduced the low-cost SLS SnowWhite 3D printer, which has now gone on to become a popular printer for universities, research centers and manufacturers alike. To see Sharebot’s 3D printer offerings, both new and old, stop by and visit the company at booth G43.

The TCT Show will be taking place from September 26 to 28.
