Losing passion in your work? Slipping into a feeling of fatigue or malaise can quickly turn into a downward spiral. Being able to fight burnout will take a lot of willpower, so pay attention to these suggestions to put yourself back on the right path.

Unplug after work. Having a phone means you’re able to constantly check email or chat messages, even when you’re not in the office. Allot time to disconnect so it doesn’t feel like you’re always working.

Pay attention to your body. Oftentimes, aches and pains are due to stress and anxiety. Pay attention to your body’s signals so burnout doesn’t physically take you down.

Get organized. Burnout can come from being overloaded with work and feeling too disorganized. Manage your time and take stock of the important tasks you need to get done.

Take breaks. After working an hour, use 15 minutes to get up and take a walk. You might feel you’re being productive by working nonstop, but that’s probably wearing you down over time.

Support system is key. Spending time with your friends and loved ones will ease the burden of your day to day stress. Make sure you're having a little fun now and then. Life’s not all about work.
