Expression of miR-204 in ovarian cancer and its role in ovarian cancer cells proliferation and invasion

Abstract: Objective:To investigate the expression of miR-204 in ovarian cancer and its effect on ovarian cancer cells.Methods:The expression of miR-204 in ovarian cancer cell SKOV-3 and normal ovarian epithelial cells in IOSE80 was detected by RT-PCR.CCK-8 was used to detect the proliferation of after the infection of SKOV-3 and IOSE8 cells.Apoptosis was detected by flow cytometry instrument.The invasion ability of SKOV-3 cells transfected by miR-204 was detected by transwell method.Results:The expression of miR-204 in SKOV-3 was significantly lower than that of IOSE80,The difference between them is significant(P=0.008 2,P<0.05).The level of miR-204 expression in the ability of cell proliferation,apoptosis and invasion.There was significant difference between the experimental group and the control group(P<0.05),but no significant difference between the control group and the control group(P>0.05).These indicate that overexpression of miR-204 can inhibit cell proliferation,promote cell apoptosis and affect cell invasion.Conclusion:Overexpression of miR-204 can inhibit cell proliferation, promote cell apoptosis and affect cell invasion.
