BMW Z4 Looks and Sounds Fierce on the Nurburgring

The new BMW Z4 has been filmed testing on the Nurburgring, revealing portions of the production car’s styling.

Now that BMW has unveiled the Z4 Concept during 2017 Monterey Car Week, it’s only a matter of time before we see the real deal. But until then, we’ll have to rely on spy photographers and videographers to capture prototypes testing around the world. YouTube user SuperCarsFromEU has shared a video of the Z4 prototype testing on the Nurburgring, looking and sounding like it’s right at home on the track.

The German automaker is promising the Z4 is “an all-out driving machine,” and while the concept looked quite aggressive, it appears the production bodywork will be toned down. And even if you aren’t terribly excited for the BMW Z4 to debut, its shared platform with the upcoming Toyota Supra successor might be more interesting to you. While the Z4 will be offered exclusively as a drop-top convertible, the Supra will come strictly as a coupe.
