One of the new maps, Lupkow Pass, is now playable for season pass owners. Verticality is vital in this snow-capped hillside that sees the Austro-Hungarian forces and the Russian Imperial Army battle each other. The other five maps are Albion, featuring a massive invasion of the Baltic peninsula; Brusilov Keep, a secluded mountain town in the Eastern Front; Galicia, which is set during the epic Brusilov Offensive; Volga River, a ruined rural battleground; and Tsaritsyn, where the Bolsheviks and the Imperials fight for Russia.
The new mode Supply Drop is set on the Eastern Front and has opposing teams compete for airdrops which contain powerful weapons.
The new Hussar class, which has an evolved set of cavalry moves, lets players charge at their enemies wielding a lance. Meanwhile the second new class, the Russian Scout of the Women’s Battalion of Death, is the first time fans will get to play as a female character in Battlefield multiplayer. You can also look forward to wielding 11 new Russian-themed weapons, like the Mosin-Nagant M91, as well as competing for new Medals, Dog Tags, and Service Stars.
In the Name of the Tsar is priced at $15/£12. It also comes included with the game's $50/£40 Premium Pass.
