Nike Unveils The SB Dunk High Elite In “Royal” Air Jordan 1 Colorway

Nike Sb Dunk High Elite Royal 1

Combining the updated Nike SB Dunk Low Elite with the Eric Koston 3, the brand’s latest skateboarding innovation is born: the Nike SB Dunk High Elite. The latest high-performance iteration of the Dunk transforms the vintage basketball silhouette even further into a shoe built for modern, pro-level skateboarding, featuring a Flyknit inner sock and high collar for that connects the ankle and forefoot and acts like a second skin. The Flyknit inner bootie pairs with a durable jacquard knit toebox and synthetic leather overlays to make sure they last, while Zoom cushioning protects against impact without sacrificing board feel.

The Dunk High Elite debuts in a special colorway designed by Nike SB team rider Kevin Terpening, inspired by an iconic contemporary of the original Dunk, the Air Jordan 1 in its instantly recognizable “Royal” colorway (that also naturally calls to mind the “J-Pack” Nike SB Dunk Low). Although the shoe borrows the Air Jordan 1 colorway, the design itself maintains the look and feel of the classic Nike SB Dunk.

The Nike SB Dunk High Elite “Royal” colorway will be available July 20th the Nike SNKRS app, Nike.com and at select Nike retailers. More colorways will soon follow later this summer.
