As people took to social media to react to a U.S. Marines Osprey aircraft that crashed near Australia Saturday, they shared memories of Ruben Velasco, who is from the San Gabriel Valley.
Twenty-three Marines survived the crash, but a search for the three missing Marines ultimately proved unsuccessful.
