Hello, my name is Jurica, I'm 18 y/o, and I've read The Millionaire Fastlane a couple of months ago.
While it certainly wasn't the first book I've read on the subject of business and entrepreneurship ( I've read dozens of books about business, mindset, how to start a company etc. ), none of them really made me take action and apply the things I've learned.
I got interested in the journey of entrepreneurship when I was 15 y/o, but only started my first "business venture" last month. It's a simple SEO website that isn't ranking that well, and probably won't make me a dime, but atleast I took action.
I've started actively reading the forum about a month ago, and some of the threads here really opened my mind to new opportunities and provided a ton of insight and value ( @Andy Black's and @eliquid gold threads especially ).
I've also started learning new skills, before joining the forum I've learned the basics of SEO ( but after reading the forum, I realized it's a waste of time since it takes too long to see results and isn't as profitable as PPC advertising ).
Currently, I'm learning copywriting ( @SinisterLex thank you for the guide), and would like to do some freelance work in the future, in order to get some capital for PPC advertising.
Originally, I've planned to find a job during the summer break from school, but the only ones available to students in Croatia have terrible pay ( 3$ per hour approximately, 12 hour workdays, 6 days/week ), which I simply can't force myself to do.
After realizing I've been a "wantrepreneur" since I was 15, I hope to finally take some meaningful action, and joining and introducing myself on this forum is, in my opinion, a good first step.
I've never been an active member of a forum before. Every forum I've read in the past, I was only "lurking", but this one seems special, and I can't find a reason not participate.
Thank you @MJ DeMarco for writing the book, and for creating the forum.
