You’ve probably already heard that a total solar eclipse will travel across the United States from coast to coast on August 21st, and that it’s going to be perhaps the biggest celestial event of the decade. There are some great deals this week — including discounts on computers, tablets, headphones, and more — but perhaps one of our favorites is the Lunt Solar System products (binoculars and telescopes) at B&H, allowing you to safely view the eclipse. There aren’t many deals on solar glasses (they’re selling out fast at full price), but it’s still possible to get some in time. Best computer & tablet deals

• Apple 9.7-inch iPad Pro (256GB, Wi-Fi Only, Space Gray) is $200 off at B&H, bringing the price down to $599.
• Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 9.7-inch tablet (32GB) is back down to $495, which is about $7 shy of the all-time low.
• Apple 21.5-inch iMac (Retina 4K Display, 3.4GHz Intel Core i5 Quad Core, 8GB RAM, 1TB Fusion Drive) just dropped $50 on the newest version, now $1,349 which is $150 off the original price.
• Dell 15.6-inch Inspiron 15 5000 Series notebook is $150 off until August 13th (Sunday) and includes free Microsoft Office 365 Personal (now $350).

Best entertainment deals

• Google Home and Philips Hue color starter kit is down to $188.99 at Best Buy ($120 off).
• Eero Home Wi-Fi system (1 Eero and 2 Eero Beacons) is at an all-time low, down to $325 on Amazon ($75 off the MSRP).
• Sony Premium noise-canceling, Bluetooth headphones are down to $328, matching an all-time low on Amazon.
• Beats by Dr. Dre Tour2 Active in-ear headphones (with Integrated Remote & Mic) are $40 off at B&H, bringing the price down to $49.95.
• Bose Solo 15 sound bar is now $299 (about $80 off) at Adorama.
• Sony XBR-X900E-Series 55-inch smart LED TV recently got further marked down by $100, available for $1,298 at B&H, Dell, and Amazon.
