As a frequent user of Snapchat, Instagram and some of my other favorite social media, this was well needed. The camera on my phone suffers heavily when it comes to taking pictures in low light as I have an outdated phone compared to a brand new phone like the iPhone 7 persay. After buying this little piece of goody, the quality of my pictures improved drastically. Pictures in daylight got even better as now you can see almost every detail in my face and night pictures got way better as well. The light is simple to operate. There Is a switch on the side which controls the light level. What I like about this gadget is that it is rechargeable instead of having to constantly be buying new batteries. I have attached some selfies I have taken with the light in absolute darkness and they still came out good.

    The mini selfie beauty fill light by CSBrother is definitely a useful intuitive invention. I didn’t find out how multipurpose these devices are until recently when I went on vacation. The lighting for our cabin was extremely dark in the evenings and trying to find or locate it was difficult. Using the light from my iPhone 6s was adequate but not as helpful as I would have hoped. Then I just attached the fill light just to shine the dark areas, and finally I was able to reveal more transparency from the darkness.

    There are 9 LED lights within the unit and the selfie light fits easily in place in any audio jack for smartphones, tablets, etc. The brightness levels can be set from dim or bright and are great for capturing moments in the club, and other dark environments. The dim lighting has actually been useful for easing me to sleep while I read a few e-books. The bright lighting as an example is great in capturing a quality luminous group photo on a dimly light pier. You can also clip on the device onto your smartphone, so that it is essentially universally compliant.

    The portable nature of this unit makes it easy to carry around in your pocket or just leaving it on your smartphone because it is so discreet. The fill
    light provides a daylight color effect, so that it can accentuate natural looking skin tones at the right depth and with soft shadowing. These are much more practical to use than using the flash on my iPhone because it can blind you. With the fill light, you can just hold it at a certain angle. The unit itself can last for nearly 3 hours on a full charge with 160lm of brightness. Overall, it has proved to be a useful tool for a variety of purposes.

    I been playing with doing photos with my cell phone. This little thing is nice, I love how it has 2 light settings. I have been using the lower one and it puts out a nice soft light . Just what I was looking for. I have tried a few others but so far this it the best ! With the price i will be getting a few more one for every bag!

    This selfie light works pretty well. I have used it a bunch of times for a month or two and I have only charged it once. I don't use it everyday though. I am not a huge selfie person but this makes a good fill light when taking photos in an environment with dim lighting. I am giving it three stars because I don't like the construction of the on/off switch.

    PROS:
    + easily removable and very small in size
    + 2 different light settings: high and low
    + long battery life (also includes a usb charger)

    CONS:
    - plastic construction feels cheaply made
    - switch to turn on and change level is rough and small, it scratches you if you are not careful

    This is a great little product. It has come in handy more times than I thought it would. It can greatly increase the quality of your selfies, or instagram pictures, or just any photos. The light gets pretty bright and I love that you just charge it up with a micro USB cable and it doesn't require any batteries. Speaking of charging, it doesn't take long at all to get it to a full charge and one full charge can last for about a week, depending on how much you use it of course. It's so small that it will fit in any purse or pocket and you can easily take it around with you anywhere. It fits on all types of devices so anyone can use it. Very nice product.

    I love it! It has two switches for a lower brightness which works well when you do selfie by just holding the phone with your hands while the brighter light works well with a selfie stick. I love hiking and mountain climbing. It will now be possible to do selfies even at night since my phone doesn't have a built in flash on the front cam. It can also be used to aid the back cam's flash for a clearer picture taken when no or little light is present. It is rechargeable and the battery lasts long so I can bring it anywhere since it can be used for selfies plus it can double as flashlight - very portable. I received this product for a discount in exchange of my fair and honest review.
