WWE SUMMERSLAM LIVE BLOG & MATCH COVERAGE

Hello! Hooray! Let the show begin; I've been ready. Hello! Hooray! Let the lights grow dim; I've been ready, ready as this audience that's coming here to dream, loving every second, every moment, every scream. I've been waiting so long to liveblog this here pro wrestling show for you, folks.

The pre-show starts with Renee Young welcoming us to the show and introducing her fellow panelists, Jerry "the King" Lawler, Lita, and David Otunga. They discuss their shoes for a moment before tossing to Charly Caruso in the social media lounge, where she will be joined later by Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins for a Q&A.

Sam Roberts is outside the arena hanging out with the crowd, and then the panel runs down the card in short to sell those of you watching on other platforms on the WWE Network. From there we go to discussion of Corbin/Cena, centered initially around a recap of Corbin's great blunder on SmackDown this week before we get a backstage interview with the Lone Wolf.

He says everybody knows what happened and it's John Cena's fault, so he doesn't regret it, but he's going to go out there and hurt Cena. And when you stick your people in nose's business, there are consequences. Short panel discussion of the tag title match follows before we take a break for a house ad for the main show.

Once that's out of the way, we get a video package for and panel discussion of Balor/Wyatt. A bit of hype for our preshow six-man tag follows, and then a house ad for the Mae Young Classic, before we get into the video package for the United States Championship match.

Special guest referee Shane McMahon is interviewed backstage and he talks about how he's willing to let blows struck in the heat of battle slide, but if either man puts hands on him on purpose, he'll put hands back, and one thing's for sure, that we'll have a winner tonight. The panel then discusses the match before tossing things ringside for our first preshow match.

Hardy Boyz (Jeff & Matt Hardy) & Jason Jordan vs. Miz & the Miztourage (Bo Dallas & Curtis Axel)

Matt and Curtis to start, collar and elbow, Hardy grabs a side headlock, Axel gets him in the corner and tries to break dirty with a right hand but Matt blocks it and makes the tag to Jeff. Poetry in Motion, dropkick to the back of the head gets two, an arm wringer and a tag to Jordan.

Curtis in control, he pulls Jason over and tags Bo in. Elbows to the corner, Jordan fights back with a few of his own, whip into a dropkick, the cover is only good for one but Kurt Angle's biological son is rolling. Waistlock takedown to an armbar, arm wringer, tag to Matt Hardy. Hardy off the second with an elbow drop to the shoulder that sends Dallas pirouetting, quick tags back and forth as the babyfaces work him over.

Things break down a little, Jordan directing traffic as the Hardyz chop the illegal men, another quick tag but Axel pulls Bo out of the ring to block the Swanton and we take a break.

Back from our house ad, Jeff is rolling, getting a nearfall on Dallas. Twist of Fate denied, Hardy heading up top but Axel cuts him off, giving Bo a window to put boots to him. Miz tags in for the first time, stomping away, a cover gets two and the A-Lister locks the Charismatic Enigma down with a seated rear chinlock.

Hardy to his feet, throwing elbows, he gets some separation but Miz hits the Manhattan Drop. Too much time taunting to capitalize, Jeff kicks him away and Curtis tags in. Stomp to the face, kneeling armbar while scraping his forearm across Brother Nero's forehead, a hairpull mat slam denies the tag and Axel knocks Jordan off the apron for good measure.

Jeff uses a whip into the corner to dropkick Miz and Dallas off the apron, a kick gets him away, Matt Hardy and Miz tag in! Matt puts the A-Lister's head into each turnbuckle over and over in turn, he's fired up, "DELETE!" clothesline into the bulldog! To the second, diving elbow drop right to the back of Miz's neck... NO GOOD!

Calling for the Twist of Fate, Miz reverses to the full nelson, Hardy slips away, the A-Lister kicks him in the gut and plants him with the basement DDT for a nearfall! Daniel Bryan chest kicks, Matt ducks the buzzsaw finale and hits a Side Effect... NOT ENOUGH! Jordan fired up on the apron, he wants the tag and gets it despite Miz's best efforts.

Axel tags in, he eats some elbows, thrusted back first in the corner, Bo gets belly-to-belly suplexed, Angle Slam for Curtis, only a nearfall! Into the "everybody do something cool" part of the match, Jason lands a belly-to-belly suplex on Axel, shoulder thrust, blind tag from the Miz and he capitalizes...

Miz & the Miztourage win by pinfall with Skull Crushing Finale from Miz on Jason Jordan.

Panel discussion resumes with the Raw Tag Team Championship, including a video package. Thence to the social media lounge for the Q&A, which kicks off with Dean boasting of his ability as an interior decorator. They didn't prepare a lot as team but Dean is full of energy and ready to scorch anything in their path.

Asked about their tag team name, Seth says their actions speak for themselves, as two-thirds of the Shield, but call 'em what you want, but they'll be tag champs after the night. Ambrose admits to having a list of team names, which Rollins will take a look at after they win the titles. As to how it feels to be back together, Seth says it's surreal.

They've had a lot of moments in this building as the Shield and since, but it's gonna be cool to go out there and fight side by side again. Dean feels 100% confident. As to the best moment when they were in the Shield, Ambrose says they opened up the first WWE event in Barclay's in a TLC match, and Jay-Z don't own this building, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins do.

A discussion of who actually legally owns the building follows, but the point is they run the joint. Back to ringside for our next match we go!

Akira Tozawa (c) vs. Neville (WWE Cruiserweight Championship)

Neville in with a side headlock, knocking him down, off the ropes, leg sweep, backflip into a dropkick from the King and the champ is on the back foot but manages to chuck his challenger to the apron. A dropkick sends him outside and Tozawa declares that this is his ring. Yakuza kick cuts Neville off on the return and Akira keeps the press on, throwing punches in the corner.

Whip reversed, Tozawa ducks a dropkick, lands a roundhouse and follows it up with a senton that sends the King outside for a breather. In for the dive, he gets back body dropped to the apron and has his neck snapped over the top rope before Neville takes him outside and puts him into the apron head first to send us to a break.

Back from our house ad, Neville lands a missile dropkick and climbs the turnbuckles once more, perching and hitting a second dropkick, to Tozawa's back this time. Only good for a nearfall, but Akira is down and out as the King takes his time to pose for the crowd. Stomps to the head, another two count, elbow into a reverse chinlock, grinding the champion into the mat as Titus O'Neil cheers from the apron.

Tozawa out with elbows but Neville lands on his feet on a back suplex. Outside he goes and the Stamina Monster plants him with a suicide dive! Back in the ring, Akira fired up, charging forearms in the corner, duck a lariat, rolling solebutt, the roundhouse misses but the go under suplex connects!

Looking to climb for the senton but the King crawls across the ring to deny it. Charging in, up and over to the apron, Tozawa slingshots in but gets caught into a fireman's carry. He reverses to an octopus hold, leaving the King screaming in agony! Neville crawling, Akira rotates him out into a sunset flip before he can break and follows with a sliding knee when that doesn't do it!

His challenger on dream street, Tozawa climbs but Neville wakes up before he can land the senton. Trading rolling solebutts, the 540 roundhouse connects this time but the King hits an enzuigiri in return. Akira snaps off a Frankensteiner into the Shining Wizard but he can't capitalize! Both men out on the mat as Titus tries to rally his client, Tozawa up first but Neville lands a wicked arm wringer to reaggravate the injured shoulder!

Blood in the water but the Stamina Monster slips away and lands that Tozawa Right, boot up in the corner, another right hand crumples Neville! Up top, the King cuts him off with a forearm and climbs to meet him, struggling over a superplex, Akira hits the avalanche gourdbuster! Perching on the turnbuckles, the diving senton... NEVILLE HAD THE KNEES UP!

The King of the Cruiserweights climbs... RED ARROW TO THE BACK! IT'S OVER!

Neville wins by pinfall with Red Arrow, winning the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.

Back on the panel, Peter Rosenberg replaces Lita for a bit of hype for the SmackDown tag title match. Roman Reigns is interviewed backstage, and he says he has no reason to prepare because he was born ready to reign. He doesn't care who you are, he's whooping everybody's ass tonight and walking out of Brooklyn tonight as Universal Champion.

The Drifter is in the ring to play us a song. It is, of course, about how much New York and her people stink. He follows it up with another number, specifically about Brooklyn and when they lost their balls. The panel reconvenes but find themselves interrupted by Carmella and James Ellsworth. They say it's a big night but Carmella says she doesn't feel pressure, and it's Natalya and Naomi that should feel the pressure.

Nobody's talking about them, they're all talking about her and her Money in the Bank contract, and they do some quick hit predictions and thoughts about several of tonight's matches, but the Princess of Staten Island won't reveal her plans for said contract.

In front of the Indian flag, the Singh Brothers introduce Jinder Mahal and he cuts a promo about his 91 days as champion, gloating about putting Corbin away and talkings about how he's going to silence the fans by destroying Shinsuke Nakamura tonight. He fights not just for himself, but for the 1.3 billion people of the great nation of India. He finishes up with a promo in Punjabi.

Panel discussion of that match follows before we head to ringside for our last preshow match.

Kofi Kingston talks about how they have a lot of history in Brooklyn, including the beginning of their record-setting title reign, and they're here one more time to beat the Usos and remain tag team champions.

New Day (Big E & Xavier Woods) (c) vs. the Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) (WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship)

Xavier and Jimmy to start, Woods grabbing an arm and getting a hammerlock but Uso gets in the ropes. Xavier shoots him off, takes the shoulder block, drop down, leapfrog, drop down, leapfrog, waistlock, standing switch, back suplex, Woods lands on his feet! Off the ropes, slide under, pop-up, rolling elbow connects and gets a nearfall!

Xavier throws a straight right, backing Jimmy into the corner and tearing his shirt off for chops. Whip to the corner, charging forearm, another whip, another forearm, rapid-fire body blows but Uso fires back a big slicing right. Running into a boot, Jey running interference as Woods climbs and he dives right into another right hand as we take a break.

Back from our house ad and Jey is in with a reverse chinlock on Woods, locking him down and wrenching back. Xavier fights to his feet, reaching for the tag but Uso throws him aside. Hard whip into the corner, a chop, Jey jawing at Big E before setting Woods up top. Thinking about a superplex, Xavier blocks and knocks him down with a headbutt before dodging an attack from Jimmy.

Missile dropkick wipes Jey out and both men are down. Leaping for the tag on Big E but Jimmy pulls him off the apron! Fireman's carry, the Death Valley Driver into the top turnbuckle and Jimmy goes to town clubbing Woods on the apron. Smashing his face in as referee Jason Ayers counts, back in at seven, tag to Jimmy, Demolition Decapitation... NOT ENOUGH!

The Usos wishbone Xavier's legs and Jimmy locks the reverse chinlock on. Woods to his feet, Uso repositions and hits a back suplex! Looking for another but Xavier counters into a rolling Face Eraser! Crawling, tags made on both sides! E bowls Jey over with belly-to-belly suplexes, three of 'em in total!

Hip swivel, off the ropes for the Big Splash but Jey gets a step-up enzuigiri in. Charging in, Big catches him with the Rock Bottom... NOPE! Tag to Woods, off the ropes... E POWERBOMBS HIM INTO JEY USO! Another tag, Xavier gets Big E up in an electric chair for an assisted splash... NO GOOD! Big fired up and lying in wait but Jey gets a schoolboy nearfall.

Blind tag from Jimmy, double-team spinebuster... STILL NOT ENOUGH! Straight right with E crumpled in the corner, hip attack, Woods tags back in, kick to the gut feeds into a Rock Bottom / lungblower combination... SO CLOSE! Xavier spent, throwing chops, a headbutt, trading charging forearms, more headbutts, more forearms, Jey tags back in but Woods is ready and catches him with a knee trembler!

Dropkick through the ropes on Jimmy but Jey comes off the barricade with a lariat! Big is in the ring, he goes for a dive but gets cuts off by a superkick! Both Usos up top, guillotine splash to the back of E's neck while he's still hung up in the ropes, another on Woods... XAVIER WOODS LIVES!

Xavier catches Jey with the reverse STO into the Koji Clutch! Big has Jimmy but Jey is able to pivot into a cover for a nearfall! Sliding knee... YOU CANNOT PUT THE USOS AWAY! Xavier lying in wait, Honor Roll blocked into a fireman's carry, Woods escapes with elbows, lands a superkick, tag to E! Tornado DDT to the floor on Jimmy! Big hoists Jey up, Midnight Hour... JIMMY USO MAKES THE SAVE!

Woods knocks Jimmy out of the ring with a punch but he's running on empty... JEY POPS HIM UP TO THE OUTSIDE AND JIMMY CATCHES HIM INTO A SAMOAN DROP ON THE FLOOR! BIG E WITH THE SUICIDE SPEAR! THE STRAPS ARE DOWN! Up for the Big Ending, a blind tag and the Usos drill E with superkicks individually and in stereo. Tag back to Jey, they climb opposite turnbuckles...

The Usos win by pinfall with stereo diving splashes on Big E, winning the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship!

The panel discusses the tag title match before running down the matches they couldn't quite get to in depth and shill for the WWE Network for a bit. We get an ad for KFC featuring wrestlers auditioning to be Colonel Sanders and then, and I shit you not, Shawn Michaels, the Heartbreak Kid himself, makes an entrance dressed as the Colonel.

A quick bit of hype for the four-way for the Universal Championship follows without any real explanation for what just happened. Paul Heyman is backstage, reiterating his spiel about the odds in this match and declaring that his client will win, but Braun Strowman cuts him off and takes the mic from him, telling him he talks too much.

The panel then actually discusses and makes their picks for the match to close the preshow out.

The main show begins with a video package themed around making your dreams reality.

Baron Corbin vs. John Cena

Circling, taking in the atmosphere a moment, Cena ducks a lariat and sidesteps a kick before heading outside to chill with JBL and wear his hat, talking about how Corbin is shook. Baron outside, asking lamely if John wants to fight or wants to run "like a little girl" before re-entering the ring himself.

Cena with a waistlock into a side headlock, the Lone Wolf trying to use a waistlock for pressure before a shoot-off attempt but the 16-time world champion has him locked down and only a dirty break in the corner pulls Corbin out of his tailspin. Repeated knees to the midsection, stomps against the ropes, John surprisingly staggered already as he shifts to elbows.

Cena with a headbutt, a punch, whip reversed, Corbin with the pass outside and back in for a falling lariat that gets a nearfall. Overhead elbows, stepping on John's hand, repeated punches to the head, straight suplex, Baron at no point not running his mouth. Cena firing punches off, going for a crossbody but Corbin counters into a World's Strongest Slam for two.

Stomps, more jawing into a half nelson neck crank, wasting time yelling at the crowd and John fires off a dropkick! A right hand knocks the 16-time champ to the mat as the crowd chants about the briefcase. Cena ducks a punch, shoulder block, shoulder block, falling Blue Thunder Driver, "You can't see me!", but Corbin has the Five Knuckle Shuffle scouted!

Out and back in, a HUGE chokebreaker... NOT ENOUGH! Setting John up in the corner, thinking superplex but Cena hosses his hands apart and lands a few headbutts to knock the Lone Wolf down before dropping him with a tornado DDT! "You can't see me!", Five Knuckle Shuffle connects this time, fireman's carry but Baron slips out, off the ropes, Deep Six... NO GOOD!

Mounted punches, forearms on the mat, Corbin takes his shirt off to the mild-but-vocal dismay of the crowd before going after more punches, referee Mike Chioda warning him off. Again with the silly pass to the outside and back in but this time Cena takes his head off with a lariat! Fireman's carry...

John Cena wins by pinfall with a single Attitude Adjustment.

Cena gladhands with the crowd after, at one point kissing Arnold Skaaland's widow, which is neat.

We get a Rocket League ad by way of Up Up Down Down

Naomi (c) vs. Natalya (WWE SmackDown Women's Championship)

Nattie right in with a slap and forearms, backing Naomi into the corner. Referee Jason Ayers backs her off, the champion gets an elbow in but Natalya hits a slingshot atomic drop! Naomi back at her with a headscissors driver and the sliding slap, leading Neidhart to take a breather on the outside. Kick from the apron into a blockbuster, but in the ring the cover is only good for two.

Up and over to the apron, Nattie with a shoulder kneebreaker and a catapult into the ringpost! Stomp on the floor, a cover in the ring doesn't do it so Neidhart grabs a reverse chinlock. Mat slam as she tries to escape, stomps in the corner, Ayers backing Natalya off each time. Snap suplex, another, Naomi gets a small package but gets leveled in return.

The champion gets some separation with kicks but Nattie cranks off a Michinoku Driver for a two count. Into the abdominal stretch, Naomi out with a hip toss but Neidhart lands the discus lariat for another two count. Setting the champion up top but she slips out, avalanche Russian legsweep!

Trading punches, Naomi in with elbows, whip, another discus lariat but Naomi nails her with a kick! Headscissors driver... NO GOOD! Into the Speedball kicks but Natalya catches one and forces her into the splits, dropkick, just a nearfall! Nattie hung up in the ropes, kick to the kidneys, slingshot leg drop... NOPE!

Looking for a back suplex, Naomi reverses to a sunset flip, jockeying for position, Naomi looking for A Bad Place and Nattie looking for the Sharpshooter and Neidhart gets it right in the middle of the ring! Struggling, the champion manages to roll through and put the back of Natalya's head into the turnbuckles! Split-legged moonsault but the knees are up and the Sharpshooter's right back on...

Natalya wins by submission with the Sharpshooter, winning the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship.

Enzo Amore makes his entrance, he does the deal. He wants to know where Brooklyn is, but answers his own question, placing it, correctly, in New York City. He's always played the hand he was dealt, he just had the balls to tattoo a microphone on it. So you want to lock him in a shark cage, you'd be better off locking him up on Rikers Island because he's the Al Capone of the microphone.

If he had a dime for every time Mark Cuban would invest in Cass or one of his friends, he'd have zero dimes, and he's beyond a reasonable doubt when he says he'd put his worst day on the microphone against Big Cass' best day in the ring. But he is seven feet tall, and though he may have broken Big Show's hand, when that bell rings--

Cass cuts him off with his entrance and Amore is locked into the shark cage.

Big Cass vs. Big Show

Collar and elbow, Show backs Cass up in the corner and throws repeated body blows. Headbutt against the ropes, whip, knocking Colin down with a shoulder block before setting him up for the overhand chop. Putting Cass into the corner hard, Enzo running his mouth and running his former partner down as the giant presses the attack.

A side slam hurts Show when he lands on the injured hand but he carries on, climbing to the second for an elbow drop but Cass rolls away and the giant lands on the injured hand once again! Corner avalanche, off the ropes for a boot but Big Show hits the WMD... NOT ENOUGH! Colin keeping the attack up, kicking and clubbing at the hand.

Punt to the ribs, another stomp to the hand into an armbar. Breaking for a kick and right back at the armbar, into a top wristlock, wrenching down on the hand but Show manages to throw him off. Lariats with the good arm, the giant fighting like a wounded bear, Stinger splash and he calls for the chokeslam but uses the injured hand and Cass swats him away.

Left-handed chokeslam... NO GOOD! Cass back at it, falling to the outside and slamming Show's hand into the top of the ringpost! Amore throws his jacket out of the cage and tries to slip through the bars! He's got one foot out but can't do it so he takes hits shorts off and pulls a bottle of baby oil out from a pocket, rubbing himself down!

Cass keeps clubbing away as Enzo puts gloves on and plans his escape... ENZO IS OUT OF THE CAGE! He slips down and dangles but Cass is ready and levels him with a big boot! Another boot for Show is good for a nearfall but you can't put the giant away that easily, broken hand or no. Giant step over the fallen Amore, another boot...

Big Cass wins by pinfall with the Empire Elbow.

Kurt Angle is back on the stage on his phone talking about how great the show has been when Daniel Bryan rolls up and he hangs up. Bryan brings up Jordan's match and Angle says you learn from your failures, and Dan adds that Miz is a tough opponent before talking up the WWE Championship match. Kurt counters with the Universal Championship match, claiming it'll be epic.

Bryan says it won't be as epic as what SmackDown has, and it's true, it's damn true. Angle uses "Yes!" against Bryan and Dan busts "No!" back out for a good old-fashioned catchphrase war.

Randy Orton vs. Rusev

Rusev blindsides Orton while he's posing during his entrance! He dumps the Viper outside and runs him over freight-train style! Into the post, fallaway slam into the barricade, back in the ring referee Brian Nguyen backs the Bulgarian Brute off and checks on Randy, eventually calling for the bell.

Rusev right back in but Randy sidesteps a charge...

Randy Orton wins by pinfall with an RKO.

Sasha Banks is walking backstage when she runs into Bayley. The Hugger wishes her luck and offers her a hug before she continues on her way.

Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Sasha Banks (WWE Raw Women's Championship)

Circling, collar and elbow, struggling violently in it and Alexa backs Sasha into the corner. Break, trading punches fast and furious in the corner and Bliss clobbers her with a straight right across the nose! Drop toehold into a side headlock, to the apron, Alexa catches Sasha over the ropes and climbs up top for a diving crossbody that gets one!

Quick covers, firing kicks away, the Boss fires one back but the champion crotches her into the turnbuckles and puts her face into the mat hard! Overhand strikes on the mat, another two count, standing hair-trap surfboard and Bliss locks a reverse chinlock on. Right hand, mat slam, another cover and another two count, Banks throwing desperate punches but Alexa lands the Nodowa Otoshi!

Climbing the turnbuckles, the Boss cuts her off with punches but Bliss gets a reverse chinlock sleeper and hangs Sasha in the ropes! Insault to Injury out of the corner, grabbing the hair, choking her challenger over the ropes as referee Darrick Moore counts and backs her off. The cover is only good for two and she follows it up with a neck crank.

Banks gets a quick nearfall off a schoolboy pin but the champion drops her right back down for two more of her own. Face into the turnbuckles a few times, but the Boss turns it around with forearms of her own for a minute. Back to the elevated reverse chinlock sleeper but Sasha counters with Iconoclasm! Off the ropes with a sliding knee and both women are out on the mat!

Sasha throws a dropkick, a Regal Cutter follows but it's only good for a nearfall. Bliss fires a knee off, looking for a neckbreaker but she can't get it so she settles for a single knee facebreaker for another nearfall of her own. Goozle applied but Banks counters with an upkick, she charges into a boot, Alexa thinking Yoshi Tonic but Sasha counters with an Alabama Slam into the turnbuckles!

Firing off knees in the corner, double knees follow, a sliding knee, into the cover... NOPE! Another right from Bliss, thinking about the DDT but Sasha reverses to the Bank Statement! Alexa crawling for the ropes, she forces the break and rolls outside, the Boss to the apron but Alexa knocks her to the mat by pulling on the ring skirt!

Back inside, drawing her up, tossing her outside and Sasha lands on her shoulder in an echo of the injury that took Bayley out of this match. Moore counting, the champion happy to retain anyway she can but Sasha makes it back in! Bliss targeting the arm, knee drop armbreaker, arm wringer, giant step, climbing up top, Twisted Bliss... NOT ENOUGH!

Alexa loses her mind, throwing a tantrum on the mat, drawing Banks up but she gets popped to the mat and the Bank Statement crossface is in! Bliss pulls the bad arm off, repeated shoulder armbreakers into a pin but it's only a nearfall! Sasha locks the crossface back on, grabbing her own wristband in case her shoulder fails her...

Sasha Banks wins by submission with the Bank Statement crossface, winning the WWE Raw Women's Championship.

We get the KFC ad from earlier, complete with HBK being utterly inexplicable.

Bray Wyatt vs. Finn Balor

Balor on all fours, crawling at Wyatt, who nopes out of the ring for a breather in the land of eternal fog. Back inside, a right hand breaks up a test of strength attempt and Finn unleashes with strikes. Whip in the corner, double chop, rights and lefts against the ropes and referee John Cone has to force the Demon to break.

Bray on the outside, Balor charges around and catches him with a forearm, throwing him back inside. A punch, whip, up and over, the Eater of Worlds hanging upside down in the corner but Finn is unphased and lands a snapmare > kick > dropkick combo before picking Wyatt's leg to try and deny him the assistance of the ropes.

Wyatt back outside, Balor lands a tope con giro and lies in wait on the ramp. Penalty Kick, back in the ring, climbing the turnbuckles for Coup de Grace but Bray heads outside and cuts him off, landing a rope-hung suplex from the second to the floor! Clubbing away at the Demon, putting him into the apron and rolling him back inside.

Forearms ahoy, Wyatt in control but Finn clubs away at him in the corner. Bray sets him up top, big right hand, a move I can't adequately name out of the corner, almost like a reverse STO but driving his shoulder into Balor's sternum and the Eater of Worlds follows that innovation up with a reverse chinlock.

Finn out of it, whipped into the corner, charging lariat, Sister Abigail clutch on but Balor slips out and hits a double stomp. Boots up in the corner, Bray with a slicing right but the Demon catches him with a Pele kick. Whip reversed, duck the lariat, forearms, he passes Wyatt outside and nails him with a dropkick through the ropes.

Lying in wait on the apron, the big Penalty Kick, back inside, to the top for the Coup de Grace, Wyatt ducks it but takes the follow-up Sling Blade! Bray back in with the big Rock Bottom... NO GOOD! Off the ropes for a big senton, again only a nearfall, Wyatt sets him up and climbs but isn't fast enough and gets caught with a inverted headlock elbow drop for two!

Outside for a moment but back in and Bray levels the Demon with a lariat! Wyatt fired up in the corner, doing the crab walk but Balor pops up, unintimidated! Another Sling Blade, shotgun dropkick, up top...

Finn Balor wins by pinfall with Coup de Grace.

We get some hype for the Mae Young Classic and an advertisement for tonight's Bracketology special.

Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins vs. the Bar (Cesaro & Sheamus) (c) (WWE Raw Tag Team Championship)

Cesaro and Ambrose to start, collar and elbow, Cesaro backs him in the corner and tags Sheamus in but Dean backs out of trouble quickly. Collar and elbow, the Celtic Warrior grabs a side headlock, into a takeover, Ambrose back to his feet and struggling, they end up in the ropes, Dean turns it around and tries to dump him but can't quite manage.

Side headlock, tag to Rollins, snap suplex, Seth in with a diving knee and Ambrose hits an elbow but the cover's not even good for one. Pushing Rollins into the corner, Cesaro tags back in, big uppercut, straight right, scooping him up but the Kingslayer slips out and gets the tag. Reverse STO into the turnbuckles, double team forearms into another quick cover and Ambrose throws chops.

Swiss Superman cuts him off with knees, off the ropes, Dean hits a knee of his own, Rollins back in, kicks ahoy, superkick to Sheamus and Ambrose knocks him outside as the challengers are in firm control. The Bar having a quick strategic meeting on the floor, Cesaro slides back in and knocks Dean off the apron where the Celtic Warrior lands a Brogue Kick on him!

Rollins with misdirections, gets both champions outside, suicide dive but he gets caught and slammed on the floor! Referee Rod Zapata backs the Bar off momentarily but the Swiss Superman puts Seth back inside and hoists him up for the Karelin lift before tagging Sheamus back in. Off the ropes, a knee drop to the chest, uppercut, quick tag back to Cesaro and he comes in with a diving axehandle.

Grabbing a seated reverse chinlock, the Architect gasping for air but not flagging, back to his feet, he counters with a jawbreaker but gets booted into enemy territory. Fighting the champs two on one, up top, diving blockbuster connects and both legal men are down! Ambrose is still on the floor and the Celtic Warrior comes in and nails Seth with a knee to the back.

Release Falcon Arrow gets one and Cesaro goes and gets a beach ball from the crowd and tears it up, what a hero! Beats of the Bodhran follow, tag made, suplex inside but it's not enough to finish the match. Sheamus tags back in, stomping away but Rollins gets some separation with an enzuigiri. Ambrose is climbing back up on the apron!

Crawling for the tag, Cesaro comes back in and cuts him off with a front chancery before manipulating Seth's hand to add even more pain to the equation. Going for a back suplex, Rollins lands on his feet and passes the Swiss Superman outside where he tweaks his knee on the landing! Crawling for the tag again, Sheamus tags back in and goes to knock Dean down but he has it scouted and comes in hot, allowing the Bar to take Seth outside for a beating.

Ambrose climbs... DIVING ELBOW DROP TO THE OUTSIDE WIPES THE CHAMPIONS OUT! He puts Seth back inside and goes to reach for the tag, the Celtic Warrior doing his damnedest to hold on and block it but Rollins kicks him away! Cesaro legal, Seth ducks him, tag made! Ambrose in hot with elbows, knocking Sheamus off the apron and landing a plancha on him.

Back in, he catches an uppercut into a backslide for a nearfall, swinging neckbreaker, climbing up top, leaping over Sheamus, Rollins hits the Celtic Warrior with a springboard lariat and both Shield boys clothesline him outside! Cesaro suffers the same fate, their challengers fired up, off the ropes... STEREO SUICIDE DIVES!
