MIUI 9 will support “Black Technology” for improved performance

I guess we all know by now that the next MIUI 9 version of Xiaomi’s user interface will be announced next week (July 26) along with the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 5X model. OK so far?

This new MIUI version brings a lot of software improvements, bug fixes but also changes in the way we use (and see) the menus as you can understand. For example it will include theĀ desk dock columnĀ which changes its position. Also theĀ dock barĀ has been eliminated, leaving only the icons (which is something a lot of us asked for Ā -I guess – Ā for years now).

Several changes have also been made to the lock screen appearance: now there’s a lot of free space, with some shortcuts forĀ Universal Remote Control, Mi-Pay, and Xiaomi Bus on the left side, along with another shortcut to open the Flashlight feature (note that we’re talking specifically for the Chinese ROM, which will be the first to get the MIUI 9 update).

As you may already know so far, there will be new features such asĀ split screenĀ and recording function, along with the ability to delete default applications that we don’t want. Today however MIUI Official WeChat account mentioned that the MIUI 9 will support a new feature calledĀ ā€œBlack technology.ā€

This will ensure that the general performance of each device will be optimized using memory anti-debris optimization tools and algorithms to control the background usage of applications, ensuring an impeccable performance. We will have more news on this technology guys after the official launch of MIUI 9, next week.

ROFL, black technology is Google Translate for innovation or something like that, you don’t need to speak the language to figure that out.

    “bug fixes”

Haha, nice joke. Introducing tons of new bugs is hardly a fix.
