An Eighteenth Century Home Gets The Jersey Ice Cream Touch

The last time we caught up with Percy Bright and Tara Mangini, the dynamic duo behind Jersey Ice Cream Co, they were decorating a charming Hudson Valley home for the holidays. The home, a Revolutionary war-era construction with shuttered windows and exposed beams, was not the couple’s, but a client’s. It has become Tara and Percy’s modus operandi to decorate (and live) nomadically, setting up shop in their clients’ homes and not leaving—quite literally—until the job is done. Well, after months of work (and anticipation on our end) this one finally is. Filled with hallmarks of the Jersey Ice Cream style—textured plaster walls, natural touches, a mixture of new and old that somehow works beautifully—we’re envious of the people who get to live in this place.
