Ingredients
- 3 c. hulled strawberries, diced mango or blackberries
- 2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 c. sugar
Directions
- Step 1 Preheat oven to 250°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 2In blender, puree fruit, lemon juice and sugar until almost smooth. With offset spatula, spread evenly onto prepared sheet into roughly 10-inch-by-15-inch rectangle.
- Step 3Bake until no longer very sticky but still slightly tacky to the touch, 11/2 to 3 hours. Transfer pan to cooling rack and let cool several hours or overnight to soften.
- Step 4With kitchen shears, cut fruit (and parchment) into 11/2-inch strips and roll up to store. Can be stored, at room temperature in airtight container, up to 1 week.
