Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Industrials and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.70%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA), which rose 2.67% or 1.06 points to trade at 40.69 at the close. Meanwhile, Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) added 2.48% or 0.1800 points to end at 7.4500 and Telia Company AB (HE:TELIA1) was up 2.04% or 0.084 points to 4.200 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV), which fell 12.39% or 6.76 points to trade at 47.79 at the close. KONE Oyj (HE:KNEBV) declined 4.51% or 2.05 points to end at 43.44 and Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) was down 1.05% or 0.60 points to 56.65.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 70 to 58 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in Konecranes ABP (HE:KCRA) rose to all time highs; up 2.67% or 1.06 to 40.69.
Brent oil for September delivery was up 1.17% or 0.57 to $49.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August rose 1.12% or 0.52 to hit $46.92 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 1.16 to trade at $1240.74 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.30% to 1.1519, while EUR/GBP fell 0.23% to 0.8839.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 94.57.
