Bowling ladies cover Beyoncé to try and save their club

When in trouble, you can always rely on Beyoncé.

Facing the demolition of their beloved lawn bowls club, three women have decided to bring the internet's attention to their plight by covering "Single Ladies," which has since gone viral.

Terry Foster, Janine Halls and Wyn Hewett from Chadstone Bowls Club from Melbourne, Australia posted the video on Saturday, with the aim of stopping their council from razing the venue and turning it into a new stadium.

"This is our life, no we're in strife," they sing in the video. "You can't be evicting me, 'cos we're bowlers and you can't take this away from us."

The majority of the bowling club's members are elderly, and players have made the site home for 60 years.

Stonnington Council are yet to make a decision on whether to develop the site into a basketball and netball stadium, but said on its website that the club was the "preferred location" following a feasibility study.

Denise Wallish, from the Save Chaddy Bowls committee, told ABC News she helped change up Beyoncé's lyrics to help suit the cause.

While two of the bowling ladies weren't familiar with the singer and had to learn the choreography for the video, they managed to film the bit within an afternoon.

"I think they are starting to enjoy the notoriety," Wallish told the news outlet.

With more than a half a million views of the Facebook video, it's certainly proof that Beyoncé can really get you out of a pickle.
