A former youth worker who encouraged the abuse of a young boy in America, a driver who was under the influence of cocaine when he killed a much-loved grandmother in a crash and a viscount who offered money online to kill a Brexit campaigner.

Darren Williams
The “depraved” former youth worker encouraged the abuse of a young boy in America from his computer in Wales.
The 44-year-old admitted encouraging or assisting in the rape of a child and six counts of encouraging the distribution of indecent images of children.
Ryan Reardon
The 34-year-old driver killed a much-loved grandmother in a head-on crash while under the influence of cocaine and then fled the scene.
He was jailed for eight years and eight months.
Colin Chapman
The worker, who was employed by the Royal Mail for 25 years, stole parcels containing high value items worth £40,000 to fund his gambling addiction.
Colin Chapman, 47, admitted helping himself to packages containing iPhones, diamond wedding rings and gold jewellery during his time as weekend shift manager at the Cardiff mail centre. He was jailed this week for his crimes.
James Philip Edwards
Edwards was jailed for biting off pubgoer Liam Harris' nose in an attack outside the Waverley Hotel in Bangor last year.
Liam had gone out for a quiet drink with friends and ended up having to take his severed nose to hospital in a pint glass.
Christopher and Simon Trigg
The brothers were jailed for 23 years each after trying to murder a man in a “ferocious” knife attack as he walked home with his fiancée.
Simon, 33, and his brother Christopher, 36, denied attempted murder but were convicted by a jury following a two-week trial at Cardiff Crown Court .
Prosecutor Michael Jones described the incident as “a brutal and sustained knife attack upon a man late at night”.
Neil Jackson
The serial fraudster who said his son died from cancer to con house-hunters out thousands of pounds was jailed this week.
Neil Jackson, 35, posed as a landlord to rent rooms on free ads website Gumtree – and took big deposits from would-be tenants.
Jamie Webber
The "jealous" and "possessive" thug who choked and battered his then girlfriend was jailed.
Jamie Webber, 27, has been sentenced to three years in prison after pleading guilty to inflicting grievous bodily harm in connection with the "sustained attack" on young mum Jenna Louise Thomas.
Rhodri Philipps
The viscount was jailed for 12 weeks after offering money on Facebook for someone to kill Brexit campaigner Gina Miller.
Rhodri Philipps, the 4th Viscount St Davids, had posted online: “£5,000 for the first person to ‘accidentally’ run over this bloody troublesome first generation immigrant.”
The 50-year-old wrote the comment just four days after Ms Miller won a landmark High Court challenge against the Government last year.
Dale Pike
The company boss was jailed after his friend died while he was collecting lost balls from a golf club lake.
Pike chose to pay his childhood friend Gareth Pugh £40 a day to collect them rather than pay for a £1,250-a-day professional diving team.
He admitted a charge of manslaughter by gross negligence and was jailed for 32 months.
Rawdon Hume
A court heard how the 35-year-old IT worker sexually assaulted his victim and filmed the abuse on his phone for his own “perverted pleasure”.
He was sentenced at Cardiff Crown Court after admitting 26 counts including sexual assault, voyeurism, possessing indecent images of children and extreme pornography.
Travis Furnish and Demi Smart
The pair were jailed after a man was left with life-changing injuries after he was stabbed in a Barry layby.
Furnish was jailed for seven years after the vicious attack, while Smart was jailed for assisting an offender.
